Kabarterkini.co.id, Natuna – Jelang Idul Fitri 1441 Hijriyah, sejalan dampak virus corona, atau Covid19, TNI/Polri dan Yayasan Budha Tzu Chi Indonesia Natuna memberikan bantuan sembako pada sejumlah jurnalis tergabung di PWI dan AJOI Natuna. Bantuan diterima secara simbolis oleh Ketua AJOI Natuna Roy Sianipar dan Ketua Dewan Kehormatan PWI Natuna Ramayulis Pilang.
“Kita memberi bantuan, bekerjasama dengan Yayasan Budha Tzu Chi Indonesia Natuna,” kata Kapolres Natuna AKBP Ike Krisnadian, Senin 18 Mei 2020. “Bantuan ini, sedikit meringankan beban rekan-rekan jurnalis dalam menyambut Idul Fitri, serta dampak Covid19.”
Akibat Covid19, sambung perwira Kepolisian melati dua itu, pendapatan masyarakat, termasuk jurnalis jelas terdampak. Karena seluruh sektor perekonomian, mengalami kelesuan.
“Beberapa kegiatan sebelumnya, kita memberikan bantuan sembako bagi warga kurang mampu dan lanjut usia,” papar Ike. “Hari ini, kita ingin membantu rekan-rekan jurnalis.”
Dalam memberi bantuan, tidak lupa, alumni Akpol 2001 itu, meminta rekan-rekan jurnalis tetap terus waspada wabah virus corona. Setiap meliput berita, senantiasa menggunakan masker. Jaga jarak, serta hindari kerumunan massa.
“Era modern ini, sebaiknya rekan wartawan menggunakan ponsel, ketika mencari berita,” saran Ike. “Ketika menggunakan jaringan komunikasi, kita bisa menghindari tatap muka dengan sumber berita.” (*andy surya)
